About STP

Spotlight Theater Players was founded in 2008 by Robert & Charlotte Reynolds to bring live theatrical performances to their community through Musical, Theatrical and Historical Reenactment.
Today, Spotlight Theater Players is a 501c3 non-profit organization (EIN 82-2762390) that exists to bring quality live theatrical productions to Livingston Parish. To continue that mission, we need your help. Arts education, especially performing arts is seen as lagniappe in our community. We believe that performing arts is essential to bridge the cultural gap through productions, classes, educator resources and workshops. Collectively, we are actors, singers, dancers, artisans, directors and producers who love to share performing arts with our community.
Due to the Flood of 2016 and Covid-19, our organization has had many setbacks. Like many in our community, we are committed to growing stronger than before. We look forward to our 2023 season as we kick off our first production of 2023 with The Sweet Delilah Swim Club a jones hope wooten comedy. This hilarious heartwarming comedy is directed by Christine Norred Brignac. We are excited to have you visit our website and be a part of Spotlight Theater Players.
